There is no reason for you to contact them at all. Just file the claim thru your own insurance carrier. They in turn, will contact Uhaul on your behalf, because your carrier does not want to be responsible for paying your damages if you are not at fault. They will pay to have your car fixed, but then go after Uhaul for restitution.
By law, you should receive a call back within 24 hours. Do not put off calling your carrier - it only makes things look worse for you.
The individuals who work at Uhaul, that sell the insurance are NOT licensed insurance agents, which makes it illegal for them to sell it - I dont know how they get past this.
IF... by some chance, you do not have insurance, you have to sue the individual driving the uhaul truck in court. Tell them that, and that they will have a judgement on their credit report for the next several years. THAT should be enough for them to provide you with the Uhaul information ASAP.
By the way, I am only licensed to practice in California. I only know california laws. Other states are similar, but I cant say how.
Call your agent!

You can try 800-go-uhaul but as stated previously, you are better off making a claim under your own policy if you can and have your company subrogate.

have you reported it to your insurer? They can help get the claim filed.

OH NO!!!! You have to deal with U-HAUL .... please go to ripoffreport.com, just to see what you will have to deal with. I know I'm still having to deal with them for months now. And have they returned my phone calls in 24-48 hours, NO! I've called 22 times and no call yet! Tell everybody you know -say no to U-Haul- and they still practice bad business.

It should be in the paperwork with the rental agreement. If not, call them.
