The Lord is like gravity, present everywhere and affecting everything, yet you can not see it. The Lord is not conceited at all. His face is on all sides and any man of vision can see it in his many manifestations in the forms and shapes, in the smells and franrances of this World.

He is ever present in your very life, whether you ackowledge it or not. If an ant comes into the room and declares I do not exist. it does not matter to me. The Lord is far greater and overpowering than me and I am much more insignificant as compared to the Lord Almighty when an ant is compared to me versus my comparison to the MIghty one.

So, stop and think who is conceited. YOU or God..lol.

What gives you the idea that He turns His back? God says in the Bible that He will never leave us or forsake us. He is spiritual, so he does not have an actual face.

No, he's that protective. At that time, to see God face to face resulted in the death of we humans. That's why God had to become a human like us for us to be able to see him face to face.
God was protecting Moses.

No, God is perfect, not conceited.

He created us for his pleasure and glory, not the other way around.

We are the ones who start believing somehow that we are the important ones and that God should be serving us instead of us serving the one who created us. Therein lies the conceit, it is in us, not God.

You are missing the point. God is infinite and Moses could not see infinity. Man cannot see infinity. Why would you think a finite man can see what is infinite or what is eternal? God is infinite and eternal - outside of time and space.

says in the bible god spoke to moses face to face as a man would speak to his friend. would you keep your back to your friend and kill him if he saw your face? why are these people denying whats written in the bible? i thought it was their holy book that theres nothing wrong with?

the being of God is infinite, as such, it exists outside the realm of our finite universe as a whole. there is no way to "see" God without being able to step outside of our universe, and to date the only way to leave our physical universe is to die. we CAN see God's chosen manifestations here on earth, but it is beyond the realm of scientific possiblity for anything human to observe anything which is truly infinite

EDIT (for Chris J): putting on my physics degree hat... actually, Chris, no one can ever understand the concept of infinite because within the realm of they physical universe infinite does not exist and therefore is a non-sensical concept. anyone claiming to FULLY understand what infinite is is lying (either to others or, more likely, to themselves)

It appears as though many people don't quite understand the concept of infinity.
