Yes, It should be discussed prior to the Sexual Act, and also, who's going to carry and bare the Guilt once the abortion is completed on the BABY.
It should be discussed and an agreement should be made as to whether the Sex Act when performed is going to be JUST FOR, SO CALLED, FUN, to use one another, OR IS IT OUT OF LOVE TO REPRODUCE A LIKE KIND, as designed to be for a HUSBAND AND WIFE for the sake of establishing a family...so YES the Father/Daddy should have a say.

This is a very difficult question that I have thought about a lot. It's very rare that a woman wants to get an abortion and the man doesn't agree with her. It's usually the other way around. Lots of women say that a drop of sperm contributed doesn't give the father as many rights as the mother. They overlook or fail to mention the financial burdens of having a baby. In most situations the father will be out working to provide for the baby while the mother stays at home and takes care of the baby. Each does their own equal part in caring for the child. I personally think that a baby should be aborted if either of the parents want to abort it. Children should not be brought into the world unless they are going to have 2 parents that love them and are willing to care for them. The world is getting overcrowded as it is and we can't afford to keep having so many kids, much less kids who aren't loved and who have a good chance of growing up to be criminals. China already has laws about how many children their citizens can have. The US soon will too. It's just a matter of time. The only roadblock to this is all the Christians in America. In China they don't have that problem.

I find this to be a very upsetting topic. My awesome husband and father of three has a story similar to this. He was previously married and they both agreed they were wanting children. Well after she became pregnant she decided she wasn't ready. She told him it was her body and she was having an abortion with or without him. She had the abortion and he has paid the price. He can't watch movies or even really talk about abortion. It is heart breaking. I am just glad that I was able to give him three beautiful children. Even in the case of rape, I know a woman that chose to keep her baby and he is now 21. She has never regretted keeping him. He didn't rape her! So many women in this world would do anything for a newborn baby. Give the babies up for adoption. Make adoption cheaper and more affordable! I could go on and on about this. SAD!!! Men should have a legal say. They should be able to go to court and prove that they are fit. Then give them full custody and don't give the mother a choice to be able to change her mind. She wanted to kill the baby in the first place.

he can say whatever he wants, but its the womans choice like it or not. She has the responsibilty of carrying the child, , if the father of the child can convince her not to abort, than he should be forced to sign a contract that states that after birth he wil take full financial and emotional responsibility for the child. He will be a single father taking care of this child for the rest of his life. I would like to know just how many men out there that knock up their girlfriends would agree to such a thing.

Because it is her body. She is the one who has to carry the baby. It isn't really fair, but it is the way it has to be. Imagine how bad things would be if we could force women to carry babies they didn't want! I think a lot of women would continue to drink,or use drugs or whatever if they didn't want the baby.
I think a man should have a choice once the baby is out. If he would have rather had an abortion I think he should be able to sign away all rights and never have to pay child support or anything. I think that is where they should have a choice.

In a good relationship, sure. But what about abusive relationships? And even in the best of circumstances, the father has to recognize that it is the woman who will be going through the neausea, the pain, and the depression, so really it has to be up to her.
If Andrea Yates had not been so indoctrinated into her faith, she might have aborted baby mary and not sunk so far into post partum psychosis that she murdered all of her babies. a woman knows what she is able to handle and what she is not. Ultimately, she has to make the decision on her own.

If women would learn how to use birth control methods there would be less abortions. There is so many people out there that wants kids but they decide to abort instead of giving away. If you cannot protect yourself then stop spreading your legs. I guess you can tell I am aganist abortion.

I think a man should have a say but if he doesn't want children he should be able to sign away rights to the child and not be responsible for child support. It is a woman's right to have the child if she wants it but if she wants it, the man should not be held responsible for her decision.
