I have been sick for about 12 weeks now. It started with severe pressure on my ears and head, then later that week I started getting really bad dizzy spells; to the point where I can't even stand up. A few weeks later I started getting very bad headaches, my tongue stops working, my body shakes for no reason, I am hot and cold all at the same time, everything that comes in my one ear is distorted and there is almost always ringing in that ear. These things come and go and I never know what to expect. The spells have been getting more frequent like once or twice a day. My doctor has been giving me the run around and keeps telling me I am depressed and am making my body do these things. Please tell me I am not crazy!

I have no idea why you think you have lyme disease........are you going through the alphabet and tomorrow it will be something beginning with 'M'?
I think you should go back to 'A', as it sounds like you have anxiety. Click on this link for some great info on anxiety...

Here's what Wiki has:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyme_disease
Lyme disease sounds entirely possible... all of your symptoms are possible symptoms of Lyme disease. (Lyme disease has many possible symptoms however) Read this article.. Wiki says it "is widely held that Lyme Disease is underdiagnosed and underreported ranging from factors of 10 to upwards of 40." There are tests, but the tests are inaccurate.
While you are going through doctors finding one that will try to help (which you must do as soon as possible!), try to keep your immune system strong. When you shower, turn the water on as cold as you can for a minute, a couple of times during your shower to give your autoimmune system a little wake up call. Take a multivitamin, clean up your diet, maybe try ginseng. Some Lyme sufferers are trying megadoses of vitamin C I guess. Good luck.

i'm no longer quite confident about Lyme's ailment in horses b/c i have under no circumstances had any journey with it, yet my canines surely has it and there is no longer something to agonize about until eventually they prepare the indications. in accordance to my vet, the significant sysmptoms are lethargy and consistent thirst, and muscle stiffness. They do have medicine that would make it pass away many of the time, yet like I stated, in the journey that they don't seem to be quite exhibiting warning signs, he says that's no longer something to agonize about.

Get a second opinion immediately. Also, get tested for Lyme Disease. It's serious, but it is treatable if caught in time. There is no reason not to run the test.

You're not crazy, you know you're body better than anyone else and if it's telling you there's something wrong, then there probably is. Go to another doctor and get a second opinion and fast! It sounds serious and i think you need treatment. Get lost of blood work done

Im a nurse and you need to get a new doctor today and make an appointment. You need to tell them that it is an emergency and to try to get you in today or first thing tomorrow. If that is not possible then you need to go to an emergency room.

Get some bloodwork done. Go to a doctor.
It could even be a flu bug or a stomach virus.
Good Luck!

There are blood tests for lyme disease exposure. See a specialist in infectious diseases or an immunologist.
