Sorry to say but how can you reply in you question. only.
you can't compare love & friendship , i agree sometimes love get heavy on friends but you need friends to express.
and but by friend i mean one or two best friends who share nearly all not the crowd. dont lose your friends in getting involved in love try to make a balance between the two.

wat i think is that v take frds 4 granted but d person v love v take care that he/she doesn t get hurt.........actuaaly v feel r frd won t leave us but there is fear of loosing that special 1.........

actually the opposite sex person attracts us towrds him/her. the one we love is someone special and ofcourse i would prefer someone special instead of a regular freind.
i doesn't mean you forget your freind?
if he/she is a true freind he/she will understand you.
