How can I add volume to my thick flat hair?

You can't. I don't care what anyone else says, if your hair has zero volume, it always will. You can blowdry your hair with your head upside down, and use large hot rollers and hairspray...but these are only quick fixes that may or may not work for a very short period of time.

Try instead to make the hair you have even better looking by using a flat iron to make it really smooth and shiny. You may not have body and volume, but you will have smooth, sleek hair that makes people envious.

I know alota people would love to have the problem of having thick and flat hair. :) I have the same problem. It's like wearing a wool hat on your heat in the summer. Sometimes I'd just like to shave my head and get cool for once!
What I have to do is after I shampoo and towel dry my hair, I put in a light bit of gel that I've rubbed between my hands and run it thru the undersides of my hair. Then I hang my head and blow dry the hair underneath. I makes my hair much more poufey and softer looking. Maybe that would work for you. Best of luck! :)

Blow dry your hair while bending at the waist while brushing it..if you keep your hair long, this is all you need to do. For longer lasting volume, use in conjunction with volumizing mousse.

Ever see " Something about Marry" ...that gel that she took from his ear lobe will work wonders for pumpin up the volume in ya hair..not to mention its good protein for da hair. Happy hunting Winks
