No, they are not ethical nor christian. That "church" uses the word "hate" way too much to call themselves christians. God loves the sinner, hates the sin. The Westboro Baptist Church just uses hate, they forget the love and forgiveness part, which is monumental to christianity. The very concept of protesting at a soldier's funeral is despicable. There is simply no excuse for causing such pain to people in mourning for a loved one. That "church"s desire for publicity is all consuming to the point of being downright evil.

NO. This group is not a church, they're not Christian, and they've been condemned by every major Baptist segment. The Catholics won't acknowledge them. The Anglicans condemn them. The Presbyterians condemn them. The Lutherans... well, you get the idea.

Just because one guy has enough money to build a pulpit and a website, doesn't make him a theological authority.

While different churches differ on homosexuality, there is NO disagreement on homosexuals. God loves everyone. Period. End of story. Debate the rest, but no known Christian leader will debate the fact that God loves everyone.

No they are definitely not Christ-like or ethically correct.

I can't be the judge of them, only God can do that, but I seriously wonder if they are truly saved. A true believer in Jesus Christ would "never" do anything like they are doing. I have never come across any group of people like that. It is inexcusable and they should be locked up for their actions.

No they are not ethically correct.
Nor are they the correct things that someone should be doing in the name of God. They are not Christ-like in any way. THESE are some of the deluded ones that cause many people to think all Christians are that way.

Ever hear the one about the blind leading the blind? Jesus said they both end up falling in the ditch.

The problem is, we live in such an abundantly supplied society that when people mistake the blind people's ditch for the landfill and toss their trash in it, they go rummaging through the trash and start going around decorating their hole with the trash and stand up in the middle of their hole all proud of the decorations made of trash.

And since they are blind, they can't tell the difference between trash and true riches.

*Sigh* Whad'dya do with that???

No they are not. I use to live next-door to that jerk and let me tell you he is in no way, shape, or form Christ- like. Any man who can protest at soldiers funerals deserves to be kicked out of the country. My family and I have counter-protested him and he is very crude and not at all Christ-like.

No. It's a cult made up of a guy and his family. They shame the name of Baptists everywhere.

Absolutely not. They are deceived and no where near Christ-like. By their fruits ye shall know them. They are a sham and a shame.

I happen to disagree with their decision to let her go.

They are looking at the Bible with a legalistic point of view. I hope the scales are removed from their eyes...

We are all one in Christ Jesus. God sees us as spirit, not by our sex. That's why the scripture says, "He sees neither Jew nor Greek, bond or servant, male or female, for we all one in Christ Jesus.

If you go to www.bible.com, then click on the Bible Answers, there's one on "Women in Ministry." It's a great article.
