Joseph of Aramathea was my grandpa. lots of greats in there. He was probably yours, too, though, so it isn't anything special.

I've never heard that Jesus had a secret bloodline. Could you be more specific, details. You can always read the Bible to know anything about Jesus and his bloodline.

No. People want to assume that there is more to Jesus' life than what is recorded simply because they cannot accept the truth that Jesus never married and never had relations with a woman. We must remember that Jesus was Divine as well as human and could therefore resist temptations - example - 40 days in the desert. Jesus was united with God while He was on earth.

It's not all that secret.

First there is the God side that made him the anointed one, Christ.

Second, the human linage.
There was a curse that was placed on one of the descendants of King David. Since the messiah was to be of the linage of King David, this bothered the rabbis, but they left it in God's hands.

In the New Testament, the royal linage is shown in Matthew's gospel, and Mary's linage traces back to King David through a different son of David in Luke's gospel. So by blood, he is not under the curse (God's side) and by blood through Mary he is a descendant of King David.

i. Luke is following Mary's line (Jesus' actual lineage) while Matthew follows Joseph's line (His legal lineage by adoption); being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph is an important phrase
ii. Luke ends with Joseph because he is following proper form and including no women in his genealogy

If you and others want to call the blood line 'secret' well more power to you; but from the Word of God it is called divine/heavenly because He is the Son of God. Matthew 27:54 "The Roman officers and the other soldiers at the Crucifixion were all terrified by the earthquake and all that had happened, they said "This man truly was the Son of God!"

He had brothers and sisters. There is obviously a bloodline, just not directly from Jesus.

Jesus didn't have a child. The world wouldn't be the same if he did. He has to be pure which also means being a virgin like his mother mary.

Maybe they are all copy cats? There will always be people that want to stir up trouble and attack people's most sacred beliefs (I offer up the CPT for an example). You don't need to pay attention to them. Pray for them.

Nope...You've been watching The De Vinci Code again.
Fiction takes you beyond reality. That's why it's called fiction.
