I am a 20 something woman with a fairly petite build. What would look good on me and where?

I am 29 years old and have the same build..WHAT you get is totally dependant on what you style is..it's a personal choice. I was very skeptical of geting my first and only tat, but in the 6 hours it took to get it, they told me I would be addicted..I DISAGREED!! Until now..I have had mine for almost 3 years and I have wanted another one for two years.. My advice to you is to be certain of what you want and steer clear of ANY names that are not yours or very close family members.
Mine is on the small of my back and it is the cross that is on my great grandmothers' headstone..I love it and I can also cover it up easily..and Thank God, because otherwise, it would show in my wedding next month!

Think long and hard before getting a tattoo, it will be part of you for a long time. I recommend that you only get a tattoo if it some thing that would not embarrass you at your wedding or your funeral. As for ideas of what and where any good artist can work from a drawing/picture on almost any area of the skin.
Tattoos can be removed, but usually that leaves some type of scar behind.
For my tattoos I chose something that was tasteful (liberty dragon on my chest, and eagle with a storm cloud on my right shoulder) and usually covered by clothing. The only time I have been bothered by either one in any way was when my daughter was about 6 months old and liked the pretty colors in the liberty dragon, small fingers can remove a lot of hair.

if i were you i wouldn't get right above my *** crack like every other girl has there's these days. I'm planning on getting one on my side like on my rib cage of a tribal flower its going to look nice. plus i haven't seen alot of girls have a tattoo in that spot compared to the *** crack. What also really makes no sense is that when girls get like a religious symbol, like for example a cross i mean yeah your trying to show your expression of your religion and all but not right by your damn *** crack. just doesn't makes no sense to me. But its you you should do what you want because your the one that's gonna have it all your life.

I would get a capricorn in honor of my mom, who passed 10 yrs ago! I want something with deep meaning so I would never tire of seeing it!

It would have to be something that means something to you. Think of something that you really like and go from there. As far as where........there are many places to put one and again that is your decision.
