Sounds like you're eating good things, but start counting your calories and see where you are. Some fruit is high in calories and fruit juice even more so. Try to put your calorie intake around 1300 - 1500 a day.....
...the workouts sound good too, but try (if you are not already) to do have them be a 1 hour duration...if you can manage it, shoot for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening...
I've been as heavy as 232 and I'm 5'6"...when I'm working out to lose weight I try to make one workout toning (yoga or hand weights and toning exercises) and one workout aerobic for calorie burning...
If you put your calories in the range suggested, and there's still no change, consider going on Atkins for a period of time...it's not something I'd do indefinitely, but I used it last year Sept - Jan and lost 40 lbs (with working out 2x a day, about 5 days a week)...
Good luck!

Your doing very well to be still at it after 6 months with no results. You should be proud of how well you've done so far. A friend of mine is encourageing me to go on this diet that will kill off all the yeast in my body. Some times yeast over load can be the problem. I'm no diet expert or any thing but I know that the sugars in fruit can feed the yeast in our bodies. So maybe cut out fruit or yogurt with sugar, anything with sugar can really hinder weight loss. Cheese is also not a good thing to eat when tring to loose. Maybe try looking up this yeast diet on google too maybe you'll find something usefull. Your exersicise plan sounds good but again I'm no expert. Keep up your hard work I know it will pay off.

Have you had your thyroid tested?
I have a friend who ate sparingly and healthily, got regular exercise and kept GAINING weight! Her thyroid secretions were off by a minute fraction and that was the reason. (It turns out that one of her sisters and her mother are similarly affected.) She is now on medication to regulate her thyroid and is losing the excess weight (still eating healthily and exercising, needless to say).
Are you eating low fat yoghurt and cheese and drinking skim milk and pure, non-sugared juices? Watch out for hidden sugars (anything ending in "-ose"); you really don't need them. Fresh fruit has its own "healthier" sugar, but I'd substitute fresh raw vegetables like carrots, celery, cucumber in place of too much fruit as in between meal snacks.
I'd also eat more vegetables (except potatoes, of course). Salads are great and can be a meal in themselves. They're filling, and the fiber is good for your digestive tract. The dressing can be a bit of olive oil and lemon juice or vinegar (ratio about 5 Tablespoons oil to 2 Tablespoons acid) with herbs and seasonings to taste. Lightly steamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, leeks, onions, zucchini, carrots, fennel...) are very healthy and delicious with a squeeze of lemon juice or a little homemade salad dressing.
Go for softer cheeses, with the exception of cream cheese. (Check the fat percentages on the packages and choose accordingly.) Hard cheeses are higher in calories and stored fat. Sheep and goat cheeses (feta) are excellent substitutes.
You can't drink enough water, especially when you're trying to lose weight. Don't forget: milk is a food. You can get your necessary calcium from better sources like yoghurt and the lighter cheeses.
Finally, a nutritionist once told me muscle weighs more than fat. Measure your progress by how your clothing fits. Are your jeans getting looser?
Good luck!

the key to the cardio is to do 30+ min 3 times a week in addition to weight training to get the heartrate up in order to butn fat more successfully later on. You should be seeing results soon- key is running faster, not high resistanc eon the treadmill.Get that heartrate up by running 5 minutes THEN do your pilates class or weigh training. then run another 10 minutes afterwards to keep your heatrate at about 160 for you for now. Good luck! I know its $$$$ but worst case scenario, get a trainor. Even if you only get 1 session for a few pointers- it helped me! good luck!

Your cardio sessions are not long enough. I would suggest 4 days a week of cardio at 45-60 minutes a session (ideally 60 minutes). Your diet doesn't seem to bad, but it could be depending on the portions and your total calories consumed. I would suggest determining how many calories your consuming and scale it back by 200.

I think you are taking in too many calories. How many would you estimate you take in on the average day? My guess it is well over 2000 because of fruit and fruit juice and snacking. Try cutting back to 1000 calories. Cut what you are eating into half. You are going to have to get your body to burn up your fat.

1st of all sweat is gained back by drinking water so using extra sweats, belts or pants are just useless,as soon as you consume one cup of water, you gain the weight back.NUTRITION you must intake less calories than what you burn.DONT STOP EATING! just eat healthier such as fresh fruits, tuna, special k,vegetables, white rice and baked chicken, also try drinking %2 milk or water. my recommendation drink 3 cups of green tea daily, helps boost your metabolism & is EXTREMELY healthy for you is even proved to help you burn an extra 65 calories a day.WORKOUT plan your workout correctly, mon-weight-tue-cardio-wed.rest-thur-weight-fri-cardio-sat-rest. repeat. when you do cardio it helps strectch & build a better immune system, when you weigh train it turns fat into muscle, muscle burns more calories even when you sleep, remember 3,500 calories make a lb, so watch what you eat!

Take a look at how you prepare the foods, for example, when you have chicken, is it fried chicken? When you fry food, it gains considerably more energy, so the calorie count is considerably higher.

Increase your intensity, you might notice a difference. You may be eating too many calories. You lose weight when you burn more calories than you consume.
