He may have an infection or abcess in the bone or his wisdom teeth are coming through and can take many years to come out! How old is he? I have known people be around the age of 40 and they are still getting wisdom teeth. Is the gum hard on top when pressed? If so I may be right, if it feels soft anywhere or inflamed more likely ot be abcess. Go to the dentist dear boy, but in the mean time gargle with warm salty water. Dont swallow in case it is infection or it may spread to your blood stream.

Sounds like he's got some sort of an infection in the musculature or it will soon develope into an abcess. Ask him if he has any history of lower mandibular displacement with a popping sound on one side. It might have to do with the madibular joint itself.

I must say that your question lacks the details. You already have enough of guessing game - cracked tooth, abscess, bruxism, TMJ.... Before you start getting any weird ideas, set up an appointment for a sweet advice from the dentist for a possible referral to the specialist.

If it is jaw pain then it could be in his ear. Or it could be his teeth. I would recommend seeing you regular doctor first. If it is just jaw pain it could be a couple different things. If it is jaw plus like a tooth or area in the mouth then it could be a tooth. When you have a tooth ache the pain can actually radiate to a different area. If he hit his face in the jaw area it could be just a bruise under the skin (since nothing is visible). Thats why I would recommend seeing your regular doctor first. I am a nurse.

Could be a TMJ problem (this is the jaw joint near the ear). I should take a trip to the dentist and mention the TMJ, so that he/she knows that you are clued up and does the proper investigations. Once a problem has been identified, it can be treated - don't worry and good luck.

while a dogs has diarrhea, their bowels get aggravated and that they won't be able to give up the diarrhea on their own most of the time. this is what my vet recommends for my 3 Labradors while they have diarrhea: a million. No nutrients for 2 nutrients. this provides the bowels a brilliant gamble to recuperate. The dogs won't starve, in spite of in the event that they are going to be hungry. this is frequently a needed step to get their bowels to give up being contaminated. 2. Rice on my own for 2 nutrients. 3. Rice mixed with kibble, including greater kibble and much less rice each and every time for countless days. 4. flow back to kibble. dogs specially circumstances basically get disappointed stomachs. It does not recommend you're able to alter their nutrients, except they're getting disappointed stomachs plenty. It does not recommend that they have got worms, exceptionally in the experience that your dogs is an interior dogs and nicely cared for. ETA: a poster below is right, and that i forgot, that when you flow to the vet, you're able to devise to convey a stool pattern with you.

My sister just came down with Bell's Palsy all of a sudden after having jaw pain like you mentioned. It could be many different things, of course, but that is a sign of Bell's Palsy coming on. Check it out at www.webmd.com

Your partner could have many different problems along with others mentioned he/she could be developing TMJ : tempo-mandibular-joint dysfunction! It can be mild to very painful. The dentist can probably do a lot to help at this point, but don't wait as this condition worsens if not treated as well as some of the other conditions worsening. GET THEE/HE/SHE TO THY DENTIST -- QUICKLY!
I have TMJ and was treated, now it only hits me rarely if I bite down unevenly.
If this has helped you, please vote my answer as BEST ANSWER. thank you !

I have the same problem and went to the dentist. They looked at it and my tooth was cracked around my filling. They said that since it was causing me pain that I might have to have a root canal done because the nerves were exposed.
