I have ceramic on top and metal on the bottom. I don't notice a difference between the two. Some people say that the ceramic are bulkier than metal but they feel the same to me. If I had to make the decision again I would either stick with what I have or go with all ceramic.

I have braces and I think they're fine after 5 days of getting them on. Sometimes I can't even tell I have braces on. My old freind had the clear ones and he said that he could always tell he had braces on, so maybe the metal ones are flatter. Plus, I noticed that the clear ones kind of look like you have gross plaque on your teeth, you really have to look to notice they are braces. So just a helpful tip but I think you should just got with the metal ones!!! Hope this helps and doesn't offend anyone!!! xoxo

I'm not sure about comfort - they rub a lot! But, they don't pop off as easily. If you have severe misalignment, the metal is better. If you are just straightening a few teeth, then they say you can go with clear.

I think the invisalign (clear) are bigger than the metal braces. You get so used to the metal braces that you can not even feel them at all.
