I am thinking of getting my bellybutton pierced, but I heard that the piercing migrates really fast, and apparently when you are pregnant it gives your stomach stretch marks? Is this true??

navel piercings are a surface piercing, so they can migrate/reject (all piercings can), but surface piercings have a higher rate of migration/rejection. That said, not a whole lot of them do, if they are done properly by a profesional and are taken care of properly. They can be difficult to heal, as they get banged around quite a bit, and your pants may rub or irritate it.

If you get pregnant you can replace the jewelry with a flexible PTFE bar at a longer length. This allows the tissue to expand without irritating the piercing too much. Or you can take it out. Depending on how long you've had it in, there may be a scar/hole. It will not cause stretch marks, you skin stretching to accomadate the baby will.

Most doctors will suggest you take it out. I don't believe you can get stretch marks from the piercing, but when pregnant and you start to show it will affect the holes from your piercing. Best bet is to play it safe and take it out. After the pregnancy, if the holes are still open put the jewelry back in. Otherwise just go get it done again.

Yes you need to take it out when you become pregnant, or when you're starting your 2nd trimester.
I took mine out about a year ago and I only had it for about 2 years.
Dont get it done. It was a fad, a trend, I really regret getting mine done because now i have a hole on the top of my belly button.
