I am going out with this 23 year old and I am 14 years old. Me and him love eachother a lot and my friend and her family which is basically family to me are being very rude. I know the age is kind of off but we are very serious about our relationship and for the first time I am happy and everyone sees that.

I have know him since I was 11 and he knows my parents and tells everyone that he is really interested in me. He won't even have sex with me he said not until I'm older.

Okay. Your friend is concerned about you. The fact that you are seeing a man- no the fact that a man that much older than you is in a relationship with you is disturbing. These are supposed to be your teen years, your years of innocence, and he has taken that away from you. Your friend should be concerned and "in your business". The only reason he probably hooked up with you is because he is incapable of being in a relationship with someone his own age because he can't control the. Be careful you could get seriously hurt.

OK I'm sorry to bust your bubble, but there is no way that at 14 years old you know what love is. This 23 year old is just being a pervert by messing with someone 10 years younger than him. In all honesty, your friends are just trying to look out for you. They were there before he came along & will be there after he is gone. You have to ask yourself, what does a 23 year old man want with a 14 year old girl that he couldn't get with someone his own age. Maybe its because women his own age realize that there is something not right with him & they know better than to go out with him. Please be careful !!!!!!!!

I am not going to say you are a sick pervert or something like that because I realize that love does come without age restraints. BUT I think that this girl is too young for you at the current time and where I don't think that it is nesscary for you to stop talking to her or stop befriending her you should not carry out a romantic relationship with her until she is considerably older. Her family should be in your business because she is still a child and it is her parents job to look out for her. I am happy for the two of you that you have found love, but if it is truely love then you would wait until it is proper for the relationship to continue. The worst desicion you can make is to go behind her parent's back to be with her because then they will trust the two of you to be together even less.

listen, you are still maturing mentally and physically. hell, your body hasn't finished developing yet. That man is 23 years old and he knows this, he is taking advantage of you because you are 14 and you are curious and naive. Please, when you go to school talk to your counselor about this because anyone will tell you this is not right. Yes, it's true that age doesn't matter IF you are a mature adult and able to make your own life decisions. you have so much growing to do and I am surprised that he is not in jail yet because he is an adult having sex with a minor! Have you ever thought about why he is searching for someone so young? Honey, wake up. You are too young to even know what a real relationship is (no offense). What this guy is doing is breaking the law. He is probably trying to prey on you because women his age won't give him the time of day. What are your parents saying about all this? Their in "your" business because you're too young and too naive to know that your relationship is wrong. He is MUCH too old for you and will take advantage of your innocence. He can be sent to PRISON if he has sex with you and the authorities find out.
