If he uses it in a loving manner then its okay. If he uses it to demean you or put you down its not okay. My old boyfriend called me pig, but only in private. I was very thin and we went to a buffet and I out ate him. It was a private joke between us and never used but in a loving way. Yes boo boo is cute
