I love this guy . we live in 2 different countries. i call him and he calls me. however lately, i call him but he doesnt pick up. he says that he is asleep and i do believe him coz ususally i call late (coz of the time difference) however what hurts me is that he doesnt call back. it really hurts me
i talked to him and at first he said i shouldnt feel hurt, in the end he said he is sorry and will avoid doing that again, i've decided to lessen my calls or not to call him at all until he starts calling.

do i not have the right to feel hurt??!!!

You have the right to feel any feelings! Just do yourself a favor and distance your heart as much as possible!

You always have the right to feel anyway you wish to feel, but the important question is; which choice makes you feel better? In other words, since how we feel is always a choice we make, the question becomes, why would we ever choose those thoughts that knowingly will make us feel bad? It makes no sense, and yet, we tend to do so, so often in life, without even giving it a second thought, and then try to blame others and/or outside circumstances for those feelings.

Thus, if you love him, love him, and be glad that he loves you. Otherwise fear will have you choose those thoughts that will lessen your enjoyment of the relationship, which will in turn make you try all the harder, which tends to push the one you love away. Because love is like a piece of string; you cannot usually push it in the direction you'd like it to go, but you can always lead it in that direction. How you lead it, is by thinking about all that you have, as opposed to all that you do not have.

yes u have a right to be hurt, but i think if he loves u as much as u love him d calling should be done by both of u, the only other thing could be that u call ever so often to d point of annoyance, if that is d case then lessen ur calls a bit.

You have the right to feel anything you choose.....as does he.
And he possibly doesnt feel quite the way you do. Perhaps he's thinking about the obstacles in a long distance relationship.

Yes, I agree with your decision of not calling him. That will definitely tell you where he's coming from. Be prepared for whatever he does or says.
