you but the potato wont taster the same instead of it being creamy it will end up grainy.

Yes, my mom makes me potato soup and I freeze it and eat it a couple weeks to a month or so later. I defrost mine in the fridge for 24 hours before I reheat it.

Sure can. When unthawing, put on low heat. This will prevent the potatoes from getting "icky".

mixed the ingredients together. freeze them. when you get ready for soup , thaw and then add the milk ,thickener, and seasonings.
