My dog has chewed up my home theatre remote twice; i think it's because it's the closest thing to the ground that most smells like me. And the same could be with your dog and it could be a separation anxiety thing. Definitely scold him for chewing, and make him afraid of the phone. Rub it in his nose and tell him NO and BAD. He'll never want to get near it again!

Since your dog can get the phone up on the table in a bowl I would move the phone.
Dog proof the house. It is different for each dog. Or get a few mouse traps the old metal and wood ones.
Set them and put them around the bowl on the table. Let her go for your phone and get one of the traps. It will snap and most dogs are very discouraged by this. After a few tries you may not need to set the traps just place them around the bowl.

Some dogs will want to chew on (and destroy) something that smells a lot like you. You probably use the phone a lot, and she associates it with you. I had a dog that would pick all my underwear out of my dirty clothes and chew holes in them. It has to do with separation anxiety. I bet she does it while you're gone, doesn't she? I would recommend keeping the cell phone up on a shelf where she can't reach it, and let her have an old dirty shirt or hat or something that smells like you.

Puppies chew! Sound like you need to puppy proof your house. Where do you keep you cell? Put it out of her reach. If you can't watch her, she should be in a crate...what if that had been an electrical cord she chewed!

I do believe in crate training...I am not chewing you out :). My in-laws have lost probably over $300 worth of stuff to their dog because they think it is cruel to put a dog in a crate...I think it is cruel for them to yell and scream and spank a her for doing what comes natural...chewing! We have lost only 2 things to our Great Dane puppy in the last 7 months (entirely our fault!) The cord to our Rainbow Vac (Thank God it was unplugged) (just chewed the plug off, then chewed it up...left the cord itsself alone), and a ball cap. Why? We were not watching him! I did not yell at him, I just cleaned it up and gave him a beef hide bone to chew. (the little s**t hid the plug under his blanket, and I found it when I went to vac. the house).LOL
He should have been in his crate, and I should have made sure that everything was put up.

Good luck with your pup.

Puppies will chew whatever they can get ahold of, especially if it has your scent on it!
Obedience class is a great idea, be sure to keep up with her training even when the classes are over.
In the meantime, keep things out of her reach if you don't want them chewed up. Give her chew toys to busy herself. Aside from being expensive to replace your cellphones and other things, one day it could be something that makes her sick or hurts her.
Good luck!

Animals love chewing on cell phones...who knows why. It's up to you to keep the cell phone away from your puppy, just like you would a baby. If she gets a hold of it again, take it away, say "no" and give her one the chew toys she's allowed.

First of all anthing in a bowl a dog will eat.. TAKE IT OUT OF THE BOWL... Secondly your phone smells like you, and will chew or lick it.. Take your perfume and spray a tinny tiny bit on a toy... and try that. Put phone on top of fridge or somewhere harder to get at.. Also teach dog by a good Smack on butt... do this by holding phone up and showing to dog. when he/she sniffs at it. SMACK BUTT not hard just a good slap.. Try that

sounds like she wants a harder chew toy. When puppies are teething they want a firmer chew toy to put pressure on their gums which stops them from hurting.

( Or she sees you on the phone all the time and wants your
undivided attention)

First, I would take your dog to a new obedience trainer. Classes (multiple dogs) are not good for any age of dog because they rarely proof the dog with it's training. Individual training sometimes costs more, but it would more than cover the cost of replacing things that your dog ignores you over. Your dog is not trained, your trainer is not effective. Lock up the cellphone in a cabinet or drawer the dog cannot reach or, better yet, use it to call a new trainer to get your dog in line.

keep your cellphone at a high place away from your dog, and encourage her to play and chew with her toys. if she isnt interested in what you have, try get her a flavored dog bone or rawhide - most can't resist them. find out what toys she likes to play with :)
