Even if you ARE super fine, being a vain egotist will slide you right back down the scale to a 3.
If you consider being respectful and friendly as "jumping through hoops" then you are going to be single for a very long time.

Dating is an art. Even worse looking people than you can pick up women easily because women appreciate those talented men who know how to keep a conversation lively and interesting. They also admire guys who are interested in what they have to say and that are trustworthy enough to not look for other women.
If you tell a chick that you're too busy to talk to her, are you really showing her that you're interested in getting to know her or are you showing that you see her more as, say, a sex object? Consider that for a while.
