She shouldn't have done that. I think she is also the one who needs to ask forgiveness. You need to move away from your mother and start a new life with new people, like at college. It's not healthy to be so keen on doing everything a mother says once you're an adult. It's really not. But I understand, I really do. She was terrified of wrongdoing being discovered and created more, and you were terrified of not doing what she said, when you're taught to honor your mother without question.
Start over again by asking God's forgiveness and take care of your body and self from now on. Please consider going to a counselor and make sure to tell them you're a Jehovah's Witness. Tell them what your mother did, but understand you did the act, not your mother. This is not about your mother forcing you, but you not having autonomy yet....
My heart goes out to you. I know how tough JWs can be....

Krissy, I've been associated with Jehovah's Witnesses for almost 50yrs
and know what they teach...
Do you have the publication: What does the Bible Really Teach?
If so, look Chapter 13 (A Godly View of Life) pg 126 and
you must admit the fetus pictured there represents life,
which is precious to God, Who is the Source of all Life.
How many people would tie in the MosaicLaw at Exodus 21:22,23
(harm caused to the unborn)
to show how Jehovah views an embryo in the mother's womb!
Jehovah's Witnesses do,
because God does not change. As you know, abortion is wrong!
As a matter of fact, based on 2 Cor 7:1, we avoid tobacco
and other harmful drugs altogether, out of respect for life.
Yet many women smoke, drink, and use drugs even during pregnancy.
Is that respect for the life of an unborn?
In another area many disregard, JW's show respect for even the life of an animal, based on Gen3:21, Exodus 21:28 ,Proverbs12:10 & other verses which demonstrate God's view of life... Yes, killing animals for sport is wrong!
JW's are Christians who respect God's arrangement ...
Elders are appointed to shepherd the congregation with Christ as Head over all. ( 1 Peter 5:2)
The elders use God's Word to comfort and upbuild those
who go to them when they feel too guilty to approach Jehovah in prayer. That SHOULD always be the first step !
But elders can help in many ways, as I've learned thru
personal experience. Otherwise why are they appointed?
Krissy, you don't need any advice from opposers.
Friends would be happy to see you return! I certainly would welcome you... It's obvious that both you and your
mother NEED guidance. If the 'little things' she said were
meant to encourage abortion, or if you're just seeking justification, either way, it's serious enough to seek help which ANY 'religion' should recognize as a vital need, to get your feet back on that narrow road.
As other friends have stressed you must put your faith in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus to receive forgiveness and 'seasons of refreshing' from the Person of Jehovah (Acts 3:19) How kind He is to brokenhearted ones who
are truly repentant.
Please don't allow Satan to use feelings of unworthiness
to keep you away from prayer and the congregation. In my thoughts, Agape, MawMaw Carol

If you aren't baptized, The elders can't "judge" you, because you aren't part of the congregation.
The role of the elders toward your baptized Mother is not to judge her either, but to help her.
I can only assume this is a factual story and not another dig at Jehovah's Witnesses.
If you feel the way you do you have only one option, and that is to find a congregation closest to your home, go to the meetings and talk to the elder you feel most comfortable with.
Read James 5: 13 Is there anyone suffering evil among YOU? Let him carry on prayer. Is there anyone in good spirits? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is there anyone sick among YOU? Let him call the older men of the congregation to [him], and let them pray over him, greasing [him] with oil in the name of Jehovah. 15 And the prayer of faith will make the indisposed one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.
16 Therefore openly confess YOUR sins to one another and pray for one another, that YOU may get healed. A righteous man’s supplication, when it is at work, has much force. 17 E•li´jah was a man with feelings like ours, and yet in prayer he prayed for it not to rain; and it did not rain upon the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain and the land put forth its fruit.
19 My brothers, if anyone among YOU is misled from the truth and another turns him back, 20 know that he who turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
You are spiritually sick and need the healing help of the brothers.
I'll include you in my prayers.

Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in abortion. We view it as God does. It is the taking of an innocent life. Why would your mother tell you to go against what she herself believes? Please do not stop attending meetings because of anothers error. Your mother is imperfect and she made an error in judgement, but Jehovah is merciful and forgiving. Pray to him about your feelings and concerns. Lean on him for understanding and it will bring you comfort. If you did have an abortion, remember that Jehovah holds in his memory all who die and they will be brought back to life. Talk to the elders also. They have been placed in their postions by God's approval and are there to help you, just like the priests in the biblical times were there to guide and direct the Israelites. Jehovah will not abandon you-----"Jehovah is near to all those calling upon him, to all those who call upon him in trueness. The desire of those fearing him he will perform,
And their cry for help he will hear, and he will save them." (Psalms 145:18,19)

If your mother truly loved you then she wouldn't be treating you like that in the first place. Don't worry about what the Jehovah Witnesses think!! Concentrate on YOU AND YOUR BABY!! Jehovah Witnesses can not say that God wont forgive you for what you have done. Put your faith in God not Jehovah Witnesses.

Human beings are imperfect creatures and tend to make mistakes. God knows this because he created us this way. He will forgive anyone who sincerely repents. This is not a license to continue to sin, knowing you will be forgiven afterward. On the contrary, willfully continuing to sin shows that you have not truly repented.
If you are truly sorry for something you have done which you believe is against the will of God, simply ask him for forgiveness and you will find yourself forgiven. Don't worry about what any human institution thinks about you. Your salvation is between you and God alone.

Ouch. Maybe your mom wasn't a practicing Jehovahs' witness because why would she tell you to do that? I'm not a fan of the JW doctrine, but GEEESH, I hope that that's not one of their doctrines! Unfortunately alot of people call themselves "Chrisitian" but then they don't follow Jesus' decrees. I hope it all works out for you. Read Acts 2:38 and follow Jesus' teachings so you can be set free. :o)

Acts 26:18 "To open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them, which are sanctified in faith that is in Me" Go to God and ask for forgiveness, He will forgive you, it doesn't matter what you have done. No sin is too great for God to forgive. However, Jehovah's Witnesses are set up quite differently. The Watchtower organization believes that they are the only channel of communication sent by God, so you have to go through them to be forgiven. Even, the New World Translation says differently to what the Elders are saying and doing. Read your bible and see what it says. As you know for yourself, JW's do not read their own bible for lack of time. But I'll encourage you to start reading yours today and find out the truth.

Get out of the watchtower society now unless you really enjoy having other people run YOUR life. God gave us all the freedom to think and make choices in life.
God also is ever flowing with love and forgiveness, we only need ask for His grace and forgiveness in repentance and He gives it freely. "Repent and sin no more." Christ Jesus. We must also forgive ourselves and move on with our lives.
Do you really want to follow the teachings of a 13 year old for your faith? Question the jehovah witnesses origins. Question also how and when Russell went to the Vatican to translate the Bible from the earliest copies of scripture. (A claim of the witnesses in writing the new world translation.) Research what you are taught and decide for yourself if it is for you.
You may very well find salvation is through faith in Christ and not from a cult. It sounds as though they have already abandoned you. God does not abandon His children ever.
By the way His name is not jehovah it is Yahweh, the God of the Jews and father of Christ. That is the witnesses arrogant mistake in translating it.
