Not the bull and not the talking jackass, nor the theology (a mean, hateful, spiteful and petulant god) nor the christology (making a man-god of a social activist), nor the pneumatology (gods inhabiting the bodies of initiates), nor any of the pre-exilic history, and none of what modern literalists take as the cosmology of Genesis, and unlike ignorant dispensationalists whose mouths move as they read end times books written by other ignorant dispensationalists, I know Revelations is not prophecy about today.

But I still think there are many retrievable nuggets of useful wisdom to be gleaned from the Bible, which mostly Christians ignore, like the over three thousand entries on aiding the poor, the fatherless, the widows, and of course the Beatitudes, all that peacemaking stuff that no modern dispensationalist wants to hear as they cheer Bush on to nuclear victory. Still find some very worthwhile pieces of wisdom in the Bible, though not as many as you'd find in an identical number of pages of Stan Lee's comic books.

No, neither the Horeb-bull nor the Sacrifice-bull. For God never desired sacrifice for sin, nor ever took pleasure in such law law. The will of God is "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice", which is to allegory say I will have grace, and not law. And the not part is not then, not now, not ever. And all who think other wise, the earthy sensual, devilish wise, can also bend over and dble kiss their divided cheri bums bye bye. For what's evident from the evidence, both biblical and historical, is that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God. No, not even Jesus. And what's also evident is law folk are not allowed to continue (the human race) by reason of death; obviously since life + death does not end with life, and hell is what follows death for those who would have "their end" shall be according to "their works": grace + law is not only life + death, but also saved + destroyed after (Jude 5). And that is why it clarifies the thief (law) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, "and to destroy". Selah.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Yup. I buy the bull and then sell(call it "tithe) to people by terrorizing them with hell and punishment and stuff. Thats how I become rich.
