He volunteered to give his life in sacrifice so that you and I can have a relationship with Jehovah.
He has be given all authority in heaven and earth with the exception of authority over Jehovah himself.
It is in his name that we can approach Jehovah in prayer.

The Bible tells us everything about who Christ is - from the first book to the last.
And the best news is He rose from death to life, so He's still around to answer questions that come up as we search His Word. The key there is not to be in a hurry. Sometimes He has to do some prep work in our hearts so that what He shows us can take root, grow, and blossom.
When we need Him to be Savior, He is our Savior (Philippians 3:20, 2 TImothy 1:10, Titus 1:4, Titus 3:4-6), When we need Him to be Wonderful, Couselor, He is Wonderful, Counselor (Isaiah 9:6). When we need Him to be Friend, He is friend (John 15:13). When we need Him to be Emmanuel (God with us), He is Emmanuel (Matthew 1:23).
These are just a few things in the Word of God that tell us who Christ is.

Jesus Christ IS God's son. He became a man to die for the sins of mankind, he was crucified on a cross, died, and was buried. On the third day in his tomb God his father raised him from the dead, and He is now ALIVE. If you have a bible, you can read about him in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Also the book of Acts. He will forgive you of your sins if you sincerly ask him. He will save you from an eternity in hell, and he will become your best friend. Pray and ask God to reveal his son to you in a way that you will know that he is real. I will be praying for you. Jesus loves you.

A philosopher born sometime around 20-45 BC in or near the area now known as Bethlehem who brought new ideas about peace, brotherhood and gentleness to the people of that time and area. Later, other people formed a religion based on his teachings and attempted to convince his followers that he was divine. This attempt was quite successful, and the rest you should already know.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God . He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. John 1: 1-5
Jesus is the Word. Jesus is the Light. The world is enveloped in darkness and that is why the world rejects the light.

Well. Ya got two interesting answers from Will and Marvin here. Does that help?
Josephus was a Roman scribe. He wrote about Jesus from a non Christian point of view. You may want to look into it. He wrote that Jesus was a charismatic Jewish rabbi (teacher) who was executed for crimes against Rome. (that would be attempted rebellion.)
Muslims see him as a prophet.
Christians see him as the Son of God.
Buddhists see him as the Buddha Issa.
Hope that helps.

He is the Son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity. He came to save mankind from death by defeating death by His glorious resurrection. Only through Him are we saved from death and given immortal life in heaven.
