During Halloween, a band we really love is having an erotic ball. I'm concerned that it will just be TOO MUCH for me to handle having all these scantly dressed, hot women running around, dancing and showing their stuff!!! Of course I will be going with my bf and I know that he will be in MAN HEAVEN looking at all this up close and personal. How do I deal with this? I want to be laid back, open and cool about it, but, I think I know myself better than that, and, I think I will be totally uncomfortable. Any ideas on how I can go to this thing, have fun with my bf and not let this bother me, just for one night? Maybe if I was really really horney I would get into the whole affair, but how does one get this way on command, LOL!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!! Should I just tell him I don't want to go and we need to look for something/somewhere else to go? I do know of another big affair, a costume party, with live music also, and a DJ. What da ya think?

um...no. You can't get horney on command. LMAO. I wish it was that easy.
An Erotic Ball....not a good idea if you are already having doubts. those are for people that are ok with 3 somes, swinging, etc....seriously. It's "Ok" with everyone there for some chick to come up to your man and grab his ***, or make out with him.

You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders and listen to that voice that is saying NO NO DONT GO because it's going to cause problems. And you may be violated for feel uncomfortable when that guy grabs your A SS and it's suppose to be "ok".
So head to the other one, with the DJ. It will be more fun, you will be more comfortable, and prevent anyone from being hurt or feeling hurt.

He's not your husband and in all likelyhood, will probably never be your husband. Use it as a time to observe human behavior. Allow yourself to enjoy what is going on around you and give the same allowance to your bf. Hey, as long as he is good to you, that is what matters most.
If you know you can't handle it, then don't go. But, really, girl, reach down deep for some confidence, let go of your pride and enjoy yourself. If you wimp out now, you're life will be a drag for not just you but for whoever you are with.
Not just man heaven, some girls will be having fun there too.
He isn't yours, no one is. Observe, learn, have fun. Whatever you do, don't take your youth too seriously. Just stay out of trouble.

I think that if you are totally uncomfortable with going to this thing, then you SHOULDN'T go. Explain this to your boyfriend, and if he cares about you, then he will understand. If he pushes the issue, then he's being unfair to you, and he's being selfish. He has you, why does he need to look at other half naked girls?
Think of it like this: If you go to the erotica ball, and you feel uncomfortable, and you don't have fun, your going to RESENT your boyfriend for having fun.
There is another event that sounds fun for you and your boyfriend to go to, so you should definitely consider going to the costume party.

i have been to what we call a black and blue ball here and it was wild....it's not about "hooking up" with everything that moves...it's about being able to express ur sexuality without being condemed for it. My hubby and i loved it. I recmend it i you are secure in ur relationship AND ur sexuality.
