Ingredients:-
-2 lbs Fish
-2-3 whole Garlic cloves, crushed slightly
-1 Green Chilies
-4 tablespoons Tamarind paste
-2 teaspoons Garlic paste
-2 teaspoons Red Chili Powder
-1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
- Salt - to taste
-1/2 cup Coconut Milk
-1 Green Chili slit lengthwise and A pinch of asasfoetida
-3 tablespoons Oil
Method:-
1) Marinate fish in the garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, tamarind paste and salt for 10 minutes.
2) Heat the oil in a pot.
3) Add the asafoetida, garlic cloves and green chili.
4) Add the marinated fish.
5) Cook the fish until it is almost cooked.
6) Now add the coconut milk.
7) Bring the mixture to one boil.
8) Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
9) Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro leaves.
Serve hot with plain rice.

method:
make a fine paste with coconut chilly pwd,corinder.put the fish in a frying pan,add littel water bring to boil,add the coconut paste,in to it when the raw taste of the masalas gone add tamarind which already soaked in the water,bring to boil,add curry leaves.
