Well, if you reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllly like him you could send some underwear in the post, or even flowers, with your phone number. Some of us are rubbish at hints and body language. Women are much better at reading body language and emotions than men, that's why they overestimate men's ability at it and think we're really stupid at getting hints and discreet messages. I thinks it's best just to tell him though, and risk the knock-back.

sometimes guys can tell by the signals you don't realize you are already giving, but due to the present situation and the relationship that you both have, he may not respond in the same way
Instead of saying flat out "I like you" just say something like I really think you are hot or can we talk sometime and then you can tell him how you really feel

Any way you feel comfortable letting him know, a letter an email, over the phone, to his face. I would just come out with it. Dont waste too much time figuring out how to tell him or someone else could beat you to it and then you are sh!t out of luck

Smile and act like you enjoy talking with him. Then, toward the end of the conversation, touch him on his arm or shoulder. He'll get the message.

Go hang out and stuff when you get ready to leave or he takes you home be like hey thanks i had a lot of fun. If he says he did you. Say I really like hanging out with you can we do it again sometime. If he says yes you are golden

just be very flirtatious with him, look deep into his eyes, use plebty of body language and smile at him. failing that just tell him you like him and see what happens, why do you want to make it into a game?

Body language! I don't mean you have to "flash" anyone, just be flirtatious, "sexy," and look DEEP into his eyes, I think he will get the message.
