Christians always say, if you don't believe in god, then what's the point of life? How can you find meaning if you don't believe in a higher power? Well, ok so how does believing in God give meaning to anything? So he put us here, then we die and go to heaven or hell or whatever..what was the point of all that? It still has no more meaning than if there wasn't a god. Some say well this is just some test he's giving all of us. Well if he created us all and has unlimited power, why would he need to test anything? Why not bypass it all and send people directly to a heaven or a hell. Or not have a heaven or hell and just create good people or what have you. Ur thoughts please

These are really good questions. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to them all. I don't know why God chose to do things the way He has. Who am I to question Him. I was no where around when He made heaven and earth and all that's within, so who am I to question an all knowing, all powerful, all present God. All I know is that God is real. He's real in my Soul. I love Him with my whole heart. He's as real as anything I've ever seen. It's just a matter of faith and even still, it's not a faith that I drummed up on my own. He gives me the desire to seek Him. I'm sorry I can't help you on that. I can only share my experiences.

The meaning of life is something that each person must search his or her own heart to find.

If one asks the right questions and keeps on asking the right questions, eventually the satisfactory answer becomes resoundingly clear.

And if what appeared to have all the ingredients of "the" satisfactory answer but eventually pans out not to be so satisfying after all, there's no shame in abandoning it and resuming the search.

One thing that comforts many of us who've come to end our search in God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ is that we have a confidence that if something isn't working or appears not to be satisfying in the relationship, our hearts can be assured that it isn't His fault. So we go back to where we left off when the relationship was satisfying, seek Him out afresh and anew, He lets us know He's glad to have us back after our wild goose chase, cleans the slate, takes us by the hand and says, "C'mon, let's keep going. Let's do this thing, you and Me!"

I know of no one else so unmovably faithful and steadfast.

So if serving God is all the meaning in life then that pretty much makes you a slave or, at least, someones pet dog. How about making your own meaning? How about finding your own Purpose? How about being your own Man or Women?

Life only has meaning when there is Love.. You ask alot more question than that so break them up and we can take them one at a time.. After all I am just a man and we men don't multi-task very well... Jim

Christian SOLDIERS(LIFE)

11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

we are spiritual beings having a physical experience and as such we are trying to achieve wisdom and knowledge on a physical plane so when our agenda on this plane of existence is over our souls and spirits can be freed from this plane of existence to go to a different and hopefully higher plane of existence where the gathering and teaching of wisdom and knowledge will be continued.

If that was the case--Jesus came and walked the earth-was tried and tested-and was crucified for you--for nothing. He died for our sins so that we could have eternal life in heaven with him.
