Find the HOTTEST ceramic iron you can.....walmart will not sell this...go to sallys and get a curmaster ceramic flat iron, about $35...works really well...or if you have the money get a CHI..$100
and your first answer is fool...your hair is going to get damaged no matter what brand you buy...it is not posiable for it to be 'healthier than ever' after running a 400 degree iron over it..get a smoothing serum like Super Skinny by paul mitchell to help protect agains damage...and if your hair is already super frizzy like mine, the damage isnt going to matter a whole lot anyway..

Ceramic is the best. You can get a great quality iron at Sally Beauty Supply. I got a Jilbere Tourmaline Ceramic Straigthener for about $50. It makes my hair very soft and smooth. Just remember to use heat protection products to keep from damaging.

Look for a ceramic one. I like Chi the best. There are other brands that I have tried, but none comes remotely close to the performance of Chi. I have been using Chi flat and curly irons for more than 2 years now and my hair is healthier than ever.
