It is pretty sad to know that. Obesity is out of control, and we are plying our kids with fat, salt and sugar. Meanwhile thousands are dying in other countries from starvation. Shame on us Greedy humans.

I completely agree with you. It is ridiculous that there are so many overweight people in the world while some people in other countries are starving to death. There is an abundance of food here. Everywhere you look there is a restaurant and they are usually fast food restaurants that serve greasy fattening food. Food is everywhere. Food is served at parties, weddings, movie theaters, on the street (food vendors), sports games, everywhere. It's hard to avoid food. Many people eat fast food rather than make a healthy meal at home. Now-a-days people over feed their children and give them too much sugar or fatty foods. Soon obesity will be our number one problem.

Exactly right. Billy Blanks the creator of Taebo says that 60% of our Country is out of shape and overweight. He also says we have to get that 60% back but I don't see that happening.

Hmm, I would doubt this. Given the poverty in India, China and Africa and the vast population numbers (we're talking billions vs. 250m in the US), I doubt that there are more obese people than those that are hungry. However, the wealth split is indeed shocking, given the wealth of the US vs. Africa and India... although I think that China will be soon making this distribution of wealth "fairer"...
