You should call your doctor right away. It may be a kidney infection or even kidney stones. At the very least you do not seem to be responding to your antibiotic. Once on the antibiotic you should feel relief in about 24 hours. You may need a stronger or different antibiotic.

Occasionally when experiencing a urinary tract infection the first round of antibiotics fail to fix the problem. Since it has been 3 days you have been taking your current antibiotic, you should have already called your doctor to make an appointment. If you can't see your doctor today then you relay should think of going to the emergency room especially since you have a lower U.T.I. With any urinary tract infection it includes the kidney, as well as the bladder, the ureters and urethra. Women with U.T.I are at a greater risk of bacteria reaching the bladder and multiply much faster. You do need to drink plenty of water and cranberry juice as well. If you are experiencing fever, vomiting, a drastic change with your appetite, and after 2 days of taking the antibiotics you may very well have a urinary tract infection that greatly involves your kidneys. At this point the emergency room is the best answer. Hope you get to feeling better

If it is getting worse make an appointment with your doctor. It shuld be getting better if you are on anti-biotics.
A kidney infection is very very painful and you will not be able to move so get it checked out before it gets that bad.
Good luck!!

I would call the doctor who prescribed the antibiotic and see what they suggest to do.

This isn't the best way to handle it. Give your Doctor a call for proper medical advice.
