I give my dog a ounce or tow of drinks like Sprite or a cola.She gets it only a couple of times a week so I doubt it's bad but thought I should check.She really does love it for some reason.

Okay, I will tell you all how bad carbonated drinks are for everyone, let alone your pets! I had a friend in highschool who did a science project on carbonated drinks.. She took a copper penny, and put it in a container filled with coca-cola, and the coke, dissolved the copper penny in one week!! I kid you NOT!! so, ever since high school I have tried to avoid soda's of any kind at all cost!! Its truely amazing what the Human body can consume without, it killing us, all !! God surely made our bodies to withstand all sorts of abuse, including indulging on an occasional soda !! I feel sorry for those who drink them on a daily basis, including diet soda's... Diet soda's have acetominophen in them, (I dont think I spelled it correctly) however, it causes cancer in lab rats! Yet people still drink it ! I used to drink them before my girlfriend did her survey, and when I read the ingredients on the can, I quit drinking them... Not only because, of the ingredients, but because I was seeing flashing lights in my head, and started to reading everything I was eating and drinking, because of those flashing lights, in my head, thats when I read, the back of the can of diet pepsi, in red letters, that word, about causing cancer in lab rats! That was it, I quit drinking them that day!!! So, we all get warnings about what we should and shouldn't indulge on.. yet we choose to ignore, all the warnings... Human behaviour, sometimes makes me wonder why we do and dont do some of those things that we should or shouldn't do.... Well I'd highly recommend that you both quit consuming soda's... but you're going to do whatever you want so..enough said.. Smile!!!

Something sooo important you should know!!!! If you do choose to give your angel soda, PLEASE!!! Make sure it's never a DIET!!
Artificial sweeteners are highly Toxic even in the smallest amount!!! This goes for artificial sweeteners in foods as well!! Causing an instant and sever drop in in sugar, is TOXIC AND WILL CAUSE DEATH!!!

I wouldn't say that it is harmful, but really you shouldn't ever give dogs people food.
They should be on a dog food diet, with proper nutrition.
Once in a while won't hurt her though
