Find time when you know you won't be disturbed, sit in a comfortable chair, close your eyes, breathe deeply; in through the nose, out through the mouth. After breathing this way a few times, breathe normally. Just be still.
The more you do this, the better at it you will become, and the more results you will have.

I dont think many know how to pray to be honest. I have a book I have read called Praying Hyde. Its about a missionary who was in India. This man prayed to get ahold of God. He didnt pray just one time and think thats enough. He prayed till God answered. If it was days then for days he fasted and prayed. I have heard many times from people saying they have a loved one who is lost, and that they have prayed for many years for them, but have they prayed till God answered. I think if someone prayed like Praying Hyde did it would not take 13 years for this loved one to be saved. We need to take praying serious.

All that means is to spend some alone time with God. Genuine one on one time, like you would in a relationship.
