im still mad after like a couple years of not having any more super size at mcdonalds.. its not that im big or anything but i just wanna know why...

1. In response to frivolous lawsuits by parents of fat kids who blamed McD's for their children's supersized a**es.
2. To clean up an image of their food being fattening and McD's not caring. By reducing the size they can say "Hey, see, we're trying to help people, not kill them with grease".
3. $$$$$$$-By reducing the serving size they can maximize profit.

maybe you need to move our McDs still serve super size,but just a thought maybe it is a whole health concern thing,super size is not good for you that type of thing,they seem to be competeing with Subway,you know serving healthier things such as salads and several different types of chicken no more dark meat in their mcnuggets(which by the way i haven't forgiven them for,i LIKED the greasy dark meat ones),plus Subway is trashing them in one of their commercials,the whole take everything away from the McDonalds menu and you are left with nothing that has 6 grams of fat....i guess they are just trying to appeal to the health fanatics now

Because frankly there is absolutely no justification whatsoever for selling such HUGE portions of saturated fat and salt, washed down with a gallon of sugary soda, while the average waistline of the American people continues to grow to terrifying new levels.

I understand how you feel. You don't have that choice to ask for it anymore. Before you had the choice even if you did only eat half of them but you had the option.
There is still supersize here in nyc.

I was with someone who got a Super Size Value Meal just yesterday. Maybe it's your local chain's individual decision.

However, my Mcd's at the end of the street still supersizes, but they ask instead of assuming.
