A year is enough time you guys should both be to that point by now. Just sit him down an express yourself if he gets scared off then you know he does't feel the same way in return. So you either, give him some time or if he distance himself then let him be. He shouldnt be scared if you two have together for a year now that why you become bf and gf so you can get to that point. So u have nothing to lose, it's either he excepts it or not. And why wouldnt he, if he feels that way I would want to say with somone who's goign to run away just because I love him. Think about it. Put on your game face and next time you're out on a date with him, make your move. Give him a big kiss and then just go ahead and tell him. He might be little nervous, but the chances are excellent that he loves you too and will tell you after you've told him. He's as nervous about making the first move as you; so just go ahead and do it. All will be well.
And, in the very slight event that he does freak out, then you will have to decide whether, after acting like a coward, he's worth giving another chance or whether you should find someone who can accept and return your love.

1 year is well enough time to tell someone you love them. I'll bet he feels the same way but is also probably too scared to tell you. Well someone has got to step up to plate at some point. If he's obviously not going to tell you, then someone should be YOU. I don't think you will scare him sweetie. Being in love is a beautiful thing, so tell your man how you feel about him. Tell him, you love him!

Well that is a good question, first of all has he ever told you how much he likes you, like and love are two different things and can be pretty heavy for a guy to hear, wait a bit and you will know when the exact time will come...he may surprise you and say it first:)

I think if you've been together for one year and just now telling him it would not scare him at all. He's probably wondering if you do or not and maybe he wants to tell you but he's waiting for you to say it first. Just explain that after a year together your feelings have deepened and that you are in love with him and hope it doesn't pressure him. Gauge whether you continue to say it on his response. first say it in a jokinly way to see how he reacts and what ever you do dont come on to him to fast he might feel intemidated and rushed and when the time is right (youll know) tell him but seriously this time the first time you say it if he starts to get uncomfterable them let it go till some other time but if you and him have been going out for a year thin he should live you and not be afraid for you or him for that matter to tell him that

You should be able to comfortably communicate your feelings after being in a relationship for a year. Tell him how you feel. If he doesn't love you by now, he never will. Life is short. You may die tommorow and never get the chance to tell him how you feel. If he doesn't say it back- you have to decide what type of relationship you want to be in, what type of person. If his motive is fear, do you really want to be with someone who is afraid to Love?

If you feel that you must say those words and your scared he will run away then find some cute little phrase that you know means to you that you love him like(cutie pie or sugar lips) then you can tell him as often as you like with out consequences.

if you love him just do it. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year and I told him i love him. I didn't worry about scaring him because that's how I feel and you shouldn't. He didn't get scared away if anything I believe we are getting closer each day
