They are written about in the bible, and their names on the gates of the New Jerusalem, the Jewish apostles names are in the foundation.

So they have significance or God wouldn't have this information in the bible.

The Apostles went out 2x2 -- out of twelve Apostles that makes 6 founded Churches from Jewish followers with Paul added that makes seven to which is addressed the comments in the book of Revelation. So the twelve Tribes are indicative of the twelve Apostles who went out and found Churches in Jesus name and then you Have Paul who also went out but, mainly to the gentiles not so much to the Jews that the others went to. There is not much attention given to this in our Church.

It is exciting to know that the Ten Lost Tribes are going to return some day. We all should be watching for their return; they are supposed to come down from a Northern Place.
