In Islam , they are equal.
However, in Muslim world , it is a cultural thing that the female sexuality is regarded more dangerous sin because they believe that the women who do it outside the marriage did it without the knowledge of her parents and family and tricked them so how the husband will trust her. She might do it outside the marriage too.
Having a baby from a father other than a husband affects so many rules in Islam and this baby is consider a foreigner (Not from the family) so he has no rights in the family. Very complicated case if it is there.
In the same culture, a man can not be pregnant so this worst scenario is not there, so , some guys, consider it less dangerous.

Sister, this is related to your other question. Know it that if two people have sex, it is always the woman who gets pregnant. It is the woman who has to carry the child for nine months or risk an abortion which can rupture her uterus, create all kinds of potential problems including not being able to get pregnant again due to scar tissue etc.
Sex is considered one of the great blessings in Islam. In Islam sex with your wife is considered a form of worship. Both men and women are supposed to take a shower after sex and every single drop of water is considered to wash off a sin for them and add a blessing to them. Who says Islam thinks sex is inherently sinful? It is not. It is a great blessing of the Most High.
However, sex without commitment is considered a great crime and a sin, as one is doing two things. ONE: One is putting the burden of pregnancy without the promise to support the woman.
TWO: It is endangering an innocent life that may be created from having sex, regardless of how many precaution one is taking. Millions of street children in Brazil and elsewhere are the proof of the hardships children are subjected to because of the irresponsible sex of their parents for twenty minutes or less of pleasure, which spoils them for life.
Islam understands what sex is completely and thoroughly as does Judaism and Christianity. Sex is a double edged sword that can make new life that could nourish mankind or a death warrant for an innocent little baby or terminal punishment for a child who is born without a father, who has to live watching his orher mother being abused by other men.
I hope this makes you see from our perspective too. May the Lord bless you for asking these questions. Amen.

In Islam women are looked upon as second class creatures - both physically and intellectually and are generally suitable ONLY as egg donors to a man's bloodline. If a woman discovers her sexuality, she may find another man than her husband and have his child(ren). This was a problem in the old days when the succession to power and the inheiritance of property was more important because unlike a woman, a man could never be totally sure the children his wife had were his, hence the sequestration of women. Of course all the major religions treat women like second class citizens including and especially christianity. It wasn't too long ago when Southern Baptist women were ordered by their convention president to "graciously submit to the will of your husband". I think Jesus would weep if he returned to earth and took a look around - Mohammed too....

every knows it is immpossible for many men to keep it in their pants when certain appearnaces are present. The advice is to protect man from himself in an area that genetically a drive has been placed to perpetuate the species which would lead to huge problems if notplaned around in a society. Spoken by a man who raised a child not his own, which was deliberately concieved using a persons old boyfriend who could not say know. She should not have laid it out there cuz she knew what would happen and he thought he could control himself. It is not a question of blame freedom, it is a question of drives turned on bcuz of genetics. Innocents like me pay the price.

Because when Mohammad spread Islam, the main duty of women was to produce as many Muslims as possible. Contrary to what Muslims will tell you, pagan Arab women were free to dress as they pleased, according to their tribal traditions. Some wore a very thin veil on the face only as a status symbol, but many tribes did not.
Females were degraded and sexualized with the introduction of Islam, and the pagan Arab women lost their high status in society. They were now treated as breeders, and as this was their sole puropse, that is how they were treated. Read more about this here: http://www.rationalistinternational.net/article/20041120_en.html

Not believing in God is the most 'dangerous' sin in Islam. How about you stop making things up to suit your own ends?

I think because sex is a carnal appetite that is potentially sinful (like with adultery, fornication, etc.) it is pretty common for people to want to blame that temptation on someone--i.e. women. Hence female sexuality is regarded as dangerous in many schools of thought.

You are mixed up. Sex between married men
and women is norm, outside, some regard as sin.
At the end of the day it is all our own created rule.
