think about this skycat

ever seen spirits, ghosts or whatever they're called
they're one time a living life souls walking on earth are'nt they?
but now take a look at them
ask yourself, why are they still here walking the surface of earth?
should'nt they be in their rightful places..in heaven or maybe hell as many religious lot said?
what are they waiting for? searching for the lights, wanting to be in the lights or be the lights or be burnt by the lights?
What light? is that heaven/hell?

one thing for sure, there is still life after death
so while you're still breathing search for whatever or where ever you think you'll be going
not even the paranormals know for sure where they're heading unless of course godwilling
good luck bro may the force be with you

I like to believe I am re-born in a future existance, and if I am, there are many roles I would like.

For example: In a future life I would be responsible for law and order, all those who commit violent crimes would be delt very servere punishments. Violence against women and children, would be locked up and the key thrown away. Violence to foward a religeous faith or cause would ensure that faith is banished from the kingdom.

I'm sure you get the idea.

Been a very spiritual person myself I do believe in the afterlife, I believe life goes on for eternity either in heaven or back on this earth.

Given the sheer lack of valid evidence to support the idea of an afterlife, it would appear highly probable that death is the end. Given how devastating this is as a concept for most people, it's no surprise that religion arose and with it, the superstitious concept of an afterlife.

Could be, could not. If there isn't an afterlife it's not like I would miss it, because then I'm a nothingness. And I'm OK with that.

but a theory I have on the subject is that we end up somewhere we'd like to be, a sort of a soul-treat, created by our own brains, based on what we liked in life, if i liked green meadows and my boyfriend, of course i would end up with green meadows and my boyfriend. That would be rather fair, wouldn't it?

yeah i think there are several place a soul can go..one being summerland-heaven-what ever you want to call it and the other being purgatory..or earth bound. i don't believe in the christian rubbish where only some people pass to go to heaven..i think once we die we either choose to go to the light thus entering heaven, ignore the light, thus staying earth bound (ghost), or go into a state of shock and confusement thus entering purgatory. it's all very confusing, but overall i see death as something not to fear because there is no hell..or satan for that matter...and once we die there's the option of reincarnation!

Yes. A new and holy life in a new and uncorruptible body...thank God! This scripture should be really helpful to you.

1 Corinthians 15
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

I believe in an afterlife and reincarnation makes the most sense to me, but I can't say I know anything about this subject - just guessing.

Sure I believe in a life after the body of sin dies. If we have trusted in the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins then we will live forever in the heavens with him. If not the there is also life in hell. Philippians 3: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. 1 Corinthians 15: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 2 Corinthians 5: 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Eternal life is what's waiting for us, in fact we've all already existed for an eternity. You honestly believe we escape from the wheel of Samsara after a pathetic few decades in this material charade-not a chance.
