verizon has a 30 day grace period. if it is beyond that time, you may be able to get out of the contract if you can give them good reasons as to why you feel they aren't providing you with the service they advertise and the service you contracted. you'll probably have to give them an opportunity to try to resolve the problem and make sure that it is documented... and if they still aren't living up to your expectations, ask out of the contract due to breach on their part. remember, a contract is not a one sided agreement. you have your responsibilities as do they.

good luck.

You probably can't, because you're going to spend that much in legal fees before it's all done, but here's something you can try:

I had a similar situation with AT & T.

I wrote them a very carefully worded letter that basically said I was canceling the contract because THEY had breached the contract, and I specified why I felt that was the case.

I very clearly said that I considered this to be the end of the relationship, and would forego demanding a refund of everything I had previously paid them unless they instituted any action to collect future payments.

If you try that route, you'd better be right that they have not lived up to their part of the contract. Read it carefully.

Wireless providers have a customer agree to contracts for just this reason. Check to see if there's a 'grace period' in your contract. Some states have a law stating you have 3-days to be satisfied with a contract to get a refund. If you're over the 'grace period' then you're stuck with the 2-year contract or pay the $350.00. Good luck!
