no..i don't believe that. assuming u believe in God (obviously if u don't, the question doesn't apply to you...), and we are His creations, how could he Not care? or at least be aware, and welcome us back if we choose to? only if we decided to accept Him, and he somehow Rejected us, that would be a Rejection on His side. however, that will never happen...the minute we Accept Him, it is done. there is no "lighting striking" either way.. it is our decision how we live our daily lives....
i see it very attune to parents and children.... if ur children disobey you, hate you, do horrible things... do you reject them when they apologize? when they come back? when they need help? Or, do you still love them somewhere inside?? constantly wish for the BEST for them, hope they grow up to be wonderful, loving, caring, Happy people? but u are not in complete control over them, even though they were created thru you. :) i think religion is a great analogy to life, relationships ,marriage, parenting...... if u think of LOVE, and the basic principles of trust, care, discipline, acceptance, consequences, and understanding, u can see vast parallels between the relationship between Jesus and us, as between parent and child, husband and wife..so on and so forth.
if anything, always seek waht is Positive, Healthy, and Happy... keep an open mind, don't hold anything down, don't believe anything w/o truly discovering and finding what Speaks to you, whether it is Christianity, Buddhism, Whatever.... but i think if you don't choose to constantly learn more and improve yourself, u can't look down on those who do have faith in something. good luck to us all! :)

I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes--Jews first and also Gentiles.
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, "It is through faith that a righteous person has life." But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves.
For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts.
From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God. Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn't worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused.
Claiming to be wise, they became utter fools instead.

As long as they live in this life, He will continue to reach out to them in love. But when Jesus comes back, He will judge them. And He will judge many who believe in God too.
It's not so much about believing IN God, as it is BELIEVING GOD. Taking Him at His word. If you don't do that, then you are calling the perfect, sinless, supreme creator of the universe, who is also so loving that He would humble Himself and come to earth in human form to die for our sins and rescue us who have made an art out of insulting and rejecting Him... its calling Him an outright liar. That's pretty harsh. Its harsher than running up to a sweet innocent old lady and slapping her, which would be considered completely heartless and stupid.
We have all sinned and broken God's perfect law, and deserve eternal punishment for it (because sin produces death, the punishment for sin is eternal death in Hell). So we can't earn our way to heaven. But if we trust God, take Him at His word, and believe Jesus is who He said He was, and did what He said He did, then God will have mercy on us because we honored Him enough to recognize Him for who He is- the truthful, uncorrupt God over everything, who has no reason to lie, and who was here before we came along with all our oppinions, philosophies, and ideas.
When we do that, we humble ourselves before Him and say "God, you are right, and I'm wrong." God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6 ; 1 Peter 5:5)

No, God does not reject anyone who does not believe in him. It's actually the other way around. He believes in all of us, He made each and every one of us. However, He has given us the choice to accept Him or not, even though He does continue to look after us and care for us as best we will allow Him to.
WE have our entire lives, once we reach an age of accountability, to decide to accept God or not. But once we are dead, the decision that has been made becomes permanent and out of God's hands.

No I do not believe that. God gives us many chances to reconcile ourselves to him, We are not truly rejected until the day of Judgement at which time he will either tell us Depart from me I know you not, or Well done good and faithful servant enter into eternal life.

It seems that your god is so vain and vindictive that if you do not stroke it's ego by worshiping it in a highly proscribed manner, it tortures you for eternity in everlasting fire. Now that sounds like a highly disturbed creature that is hardly worthy of worship or respect.

No I don't think so cause if someone doesn't believe in God right now today doesn't mean that someday that they won't.God will never stop trying to bring you into His life.Only the end of our lives will we truly be able to tell.
