ever since i could remember i liked light skined women.it was never a problem until all the black women i know keeps telling me that its wrong and also how they look at the girl when i'm with them.

I think it may be because that's what the media portrays as sexy. There just aren't that many sexy black women on TV, unless you're talking about the dancers in music videos... and those women just seem super trashy, somehow.
Personally I'd much rather look at a white woman than a black woman, too. I know it's got nothing to do with prejudice, since I've seen some pretty darned sexy black men. I just think pale skin is prettier on a woman, is all. Personal preference.
Although, Gina Torres from Firefly is quite a looker...
Or it could be that you prefer smaller curves than average, or something. There are a lot more underdeveloped white women than black women, it seems like. Just like some men prefer small breasts or big ones. As long as your preference doesn't blind you to a possible exception who'd be a wonderful girlfriend, it's all good.
Everyone's different; I wouldn't worry about it.

So what is the problem? Are you looking for someone to build a relationship with, or are you in a competition to see who can land the finest arm candy? I hate to say this, but is black women not good enough for you? I'm not sure what it is, that you want everybody to say or not say? At least your not attracted to goats!! Did a black woman beat you as a child? If this is a problem for you, then you should seek counseling to work it out. Nobody else has a problem with it, except you. To me a woman is a woman, no matter what color they are. Unless you are trying to make some racial statement, then I don't know what to tell you, besides get help!! Good Luck!!

It's psychological. Maybe you want someone different from you or from your race, unknowningly, it's been there with you since you were just a child. You've been affected since, of what you've probably seen on TV ads, soap operas, etc., different features of women, pretty faces, and you start dreaming for it! It has been instilled in your mind that white is beautiful. That's how its all started. But I tell you Black is beautiful! Being colored doesn't make you a less fortunate one. It depends certainly on the person's heart whether it's White or Black. To be honest, I belong to an Asian race with a Spanish blood but i like black because for me physically they look sporty & strong, they're very talented too. And maybe that's the reason why i was attracted to my husband, "a tall, dark & handsome (for me)" of course! hehehe...

it IS about personal preferences. and theres nothing wrong with interracial dating.
as a mulatta (black white racially) im the result of interracial dating but i prefer white guys.

It's a matter of personal preference. Just as how I, as a black woman, am attracted to white and chinese men. To each his/her own.

There is NOTHING wrong with you. I am an Asian woman and I am not attracted to Asian men at all becuause of how my father and brothers treated me( like dirt). So, maybe something terrible happened to you that is why you aren't attracted to your own ethnicity.

Hey bro, you're not alone. I have the same problem. I'm not black but I am not attracted to girls of my own cultural background. I am actually disturbed this. But when it comes to golden hair and those sexy spanish girls, I'm all over them.

Is that wrong? Perhaps people you could relate to were coincidently of the race? Maybe you were born used to being around these kind of people. I don't think it's wrong, but love those for who they are.

there's nothing wrong with that, we are all attracted to a certain type of person. ask yourself if it's something in their personalities, their features or their skin tone that gets you? whether it has something to do with heritage only you really know...but either way i think it's okay. you can't help what turns you on!
