just curious... has anyone ever heard of a married man leaving their cife for a woman they are seeing on the side?
And no, I am not dating a married man, so dont flame me!!!

Some men do. And should he marry the woman that he left his wife for they will never have their own lives. There will always be an angry ex-wife bitching about something every time you turn around and if there are children involved, they will always try to interfere and break you up. They never resolve themselves to the fact that their dad has a new life, no matter how involved he is with them. I'd tell anyone who is having an affair with a married man, especially if he has children, to run as fast as you can in the opposite direction!

We don't hear of the affairs that are kept quiet - because none of them are leaving their wives. I know of a couple - the backlash probably was not worth it - kids (from toddler to adult) won't accept the the "other woman" etc. But then there is the guy who can walk away from a family and never look back or have contact - in which case the "other woman" got all she deserved and more.

Not usually!! They mostly will try (by hook or by crook) to have their cake and eat it too!!!
The chick on the side usually feels like (and gets treated like )a third wheel, even though the guy claims to love her and the sex is fantastic. Really the mistress misses out big time, this is disastrous on her emotional health.
The best thing is to avoid married men at all costs, tell him if hes ever single to phone then

Yes they do. My ex left me for a much younger woman; just a sign of his insecurities. From what I've heard, she is already involved with a man her own age and using my ex as a "sugar daddy." In the meantime, I am much better off (except financially) on my own and my dating life is very satisfactory!

its true that 99% of men r cheaters! they were born like that! a part of them is not human its more like an animal! ( sorry to say that guys but u all know its true) they think that one woman is never enough!!
a smart woman should know that and never denies it, so she could do her best to let him see noone else but her!
all she has to do is make it impossible for him to live w/o her, always b there when he needs her, treat him like her baby cuz after all they'r big babies, always look good and change in the way she looks so he dosent get bored, bond with him in so many ways .... etc
after all its a woman's job to keep her man with her!

Yeah of course there has been. I dont remember their names right now but there was news stories of two wives that killed their husbands after they were left. And one killed the lover too.

all the time. If they find some young hottie who wants them, they'll drop their old bag like a bad habit. And even faster if the kids are all grown and out of the house....

Yes my friends bf was married at the time they got together and within a month he was filing divorce and they are still together.
