Heres the dilemna:A guy at work befreinded me,so we been hanging out for lunch etc at work. He's a good guy, and has no political ambition for the friendship. We have similar interests, and have the same outlook on life. No, we aren't queer(hes got a hotty GF assa matter of fact.) Anyway,... when we greet and part company we shake hands. He has got the sweatiest palms of anyone i've ever known! I needa towel after we shake hands its that bad. I wanna casually rub my pantleg to dry my hand out ,but its too obvious. He's a good guy;I don't want to lose his friendship,or offend him.I think its because he has a very high metabolism, he's into extreme sports.

If you think rubbing your hand on your pants will be noticable, carrying around a hand towel will be a huge flag.

Why not keep a handkerchief in your pocket and you can casually slide your hand in there after a shake.

here is what you should do. Do not carry a hand towel, because he will soon figure that out and you may lose a pretty good friendship.
I would go to Walgreen's or CVS or even Wal-Mart or someplace that has a box of moist towelettes. Buy them and whenever you go out with him, take some and put them your pocket (they are small, square size for individual use) and, when he shakes your hand, once he walks away, take that bad boy out and start wiping at your desk.
Or, maybe you can have a bag of napkins in your desk drawer and take one of those out at your desk and wipe down. I mean, I know you do not want to embarrass him, and that is real nice of you, but, I would not be too surprised if someone tells him that.

I would do what Vicki B suggest. Put some paper towels in your pockets and after shaking hands, put your hands in your pocket.

Carrying a hand towel would be too obvious. Especially if you have no intention to let him know.

Keep paper towels in your pockets. As you walk away you can just put your hand in your pocket and dry them off.

But don't fiddle too long and attract attention to yourself!

it does not matter. Keep the hand kerchief ready before shaking hand. Do not make it too obvious, if you feel delicate.

Oh come on, anyone with any finesse would be able to wipe it off without it being a big deal.

That is a dilema but why not just fold your arms and rub it there then he will not find out or you could tell him straight

Carry a handkerchief and when he's not looking, just wipe your hands.

I'm sorry, but you'll just have to live with it unless you want to step up to hugs or kisses.
