At least the'y're not superstitious and don't adopt pagan ideas that even "christians" have. Heck, they probbly think halloween is stupid, yet amusing.

How can you be an atheist and yet "believe in one less God"? That would me you believe in some "gods" which contradicts the definition of an atheist (a = no, theos = God, meaning no God)?

Just because you believe in God does not mean you are bashing anyone. Athiest like to bash christians because we do believe. It goes both ways if you want to put it that way. Christians try to convince others to believe because thats what God would want for us to witness to others. I would never go up to someone and say "If you arent a christian your going straight to HELL!" I do try to tell people what I believe and and will continue to.
I am a Christian and I dont see anything wrong with dressing my kids up on Halloween and taking them to our church to have fun. We arent worshiping a devil just by letting the kids dress up and have fun. Just because your a Christian doesnt mean you cant have fun. :)

That's not all together true, there are some christians here who don't bash anyone. It's the ones who assume that they have the only truth, and become very condescending in they're attitude towards anyone who's views/beliefs are different then theirs.

I don't bash the atheists, most of them aren't trying to convert me. It's the converters I can't stand.
And I despise Halloween, not out of any religious reasons, but on principle. All year we say, 'don't take candy from strangers', and 'don't be rude'--and one day a year we send our kids out asking for candy from strangers! I mean, I don't, but as a society. And it most definitely IS a pagan holiday, another one ripped off by the Christians, to serve their God.

I don't know why anyone bashes atheists. I suppose I can't answer this question...
However, I don't mind people "bashing" ignorant people who are filled with hate rather than logic. I have seen them on this sight, both atheists and believers are guilty of ignorance. I suppose that is why both groups feel they are being attacked.

So what your saying is:
Monotheism is better than Polytheism. The belief in one god is better than the belief in many.
Therefore using that logic, Atheist trump theist in that we believe in no god, which is better that believing in one.
