If you look up the benefits of coffee on the net, you will find it is one of the best antioxidents. However, coffee has caffeine. Caffeine is NOT healthy. It depletes your body of certain vitamins and minerals. The more caffeine that you ingest the more calcium, iron, magnesium and other vital nutrients are excreted. It also blocks the absorption of these minerals mentioned and vitamins as well. You would be much better off following a low fat, high fiber, rich in vegetables and up to 4 fruits a day, & plenty of water way of life. A sensible way of life and eating. Exercise is important every day not just 3 days a week.

In addition to the blocking/depleting nutrients, caffeine can irritate existing cardiac arrhythmias, causing prolonged and more frequent palpitations. Sometimes causing shortness of breath, dizziness, weakness and chest discomfort. In addition it can keep you lying awake at night. Not a very good idea!

Why didn't you ask this in the Health section or something else? It shouldn't have been asked in the Singles & Dating. Geez.

Um-too much of anything is unhealthy. I never heard of coffee causing weight loss.

Coffee is not healthy for you if you are drinking a lot. Try to do salad diet or fruits, They are not high in calories. Drink Tea.

Whatever works. Overuse of coffee can raise your blood pressure. But for many, there are no negative symptoms. Pass me a latte.

As long as you're not drastically overdoing it, it should be fine.
So what's the trick? Gulp coffee all day??

Hi,

Coffee is not a very good way to keep weight off because it makes your kidneys work really hard and thus you may tend to have more health problems when you get older.. eg kidney stones and wat nots..

There are easier and better ways to lose weight and keep weight off.. I specialize in teaching people how to lose and maintain their weight using natural methods..

it should be ok if it works for you. but watch out for the extra caffine you put into your body and the effects.

also the calcium it gonna rob you off.
