Before you get bogged down in information overload, just follow his lead. If his practices are a bit too much for your comfort level, just say so.
Toe-sucking, for example: Let him have at them! If it tickles, tell him to slow down or suck more gently.
It will be interesting to him navigating you through nontraditional waters. Go with the flow, while making sure he respects your comfort level.

Hey......WAIT--YOU do not need to look for anything, stay who you are. If he started out one way, and now "branching out" that is a sign,HE is confused.Look out things can become PAINFUL, but only for you.

Try the book "The Joy of Sex." It's several decades old, but it's kind of a complete manual.
I found it in my parents' bedroom when I was a kid! (EECH!) I don't remember where they had it hidden, but I read a lot of it, in secret.
Honestly, it really helped me so I didn't look like such a "beginner" when I started dating.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but if he is looking for different things, he may soon be looking for a different partner. Or, he may already have one who is giving him all the new ideas.
No matter what you try to do to please him, it may never be enough.
