Hellen Keller once said that she thought every human should live his/her life as if it were going to end soon. She believed that some people would give into hedonism, but that most people would merely start to appreciate - and be thankful for - those things that they have. Her point is that we should show this gratitude always, even if the true end is far, far away.
I don't believe in the 'end days' but each individual one of us has our own end. I'd like to think that if I knew it was coming, I'd follow Helen Keller's advice. I wouldn't get much out of wanton destruction or foolishness - it's more my style (I think) to have a nice dinner with the people I love and end my days that way.

Well, if I know that judgment day could come soon, either by the world ending, or by my own imminent demise, then I am more likely to focus on doing good for others, rather than focus on my own trivial pursuit of temporal happiness. I call my mother and loved ones more, knowing that it is remotely possible that I could get run over by a bus tomorrow and never get another chance to tell them how I feel.
My bank account? Well, I tend to donate more to charity, rather than simply hoard all of my money, since it is remotely possible that I might never get to spend it.
Rather than procrastinate, I go ahead and volunteer for that charity, rather than tell myself that I will do it next year, because there might not be a next year.
I could go on, but from looking at your other questions on here, I sense that you are asking this question just to be a smart-mouth, not because you want a real answer, so I will spend my short time elsewhere, instead of continuing to waste it on the Internet.

If you read Revelations, and if you believe the Bible is literal truth, then the end times were a thousand years ago. That means we are the dregs. Sort of explains a lot.
If the Bible needs to be interpreted, then who's to choose what we change and what we don't?
Revelations will tell you that the number to be saved is fixed and predetermined. So chances are most people will go to Hell. That also means a lot of folks have bought rapture stickers that won't apply, but that's OK. The rapture isn't in the Bible, it was invented during the fluorescence of religious cults in the U.S. during the first half of the 19th Century.

well it is true the world is coming to a end soon .Myself and the rest of my family live everyday like it is the last day . But however eternity starts the day you die not just when Jesus comes back there is no repentence from the grave.worldly things need to be forgotten Jesus needs to be your focus for everyday.Thou shall work six days and on the seventh day rest from your labor. As far as money you can't take it with you ,and who would want to anyway?God bless!!

It hasn't changed those things one bit for me simply because I know i cannot take those things with me. Therefore, everything is in as much order as it can be.

I do not buy in to end times prophecy (premilinialism). Not only do I find it lacking in scrupture, I think it corrodes culture. People who think they aren't going to be around in a couple years are not going to engage with art, music, higher education, and third world development, or even people. They are interested in "saving souls" and not interested in the totality of people's lives. It makes them feel like visitors, so they do not invest in what is around them or themselves.
