Swelling is usually an allergic reaction. Your dog may have ingested something that her body cannot tollerate, or she may have been bitten by some kind of stinging insect (like a bee, wasp or spider). Take her to a vet to determine the cause as soon as you can. Our dog was bitten by a brown recluse spider and was in ICU for three days...

It depends on her environment. If outside she may have been stung by something, or maybe even bitten by a spider while she slept. Without more informatio it is difficult to guess at the problem. Could be allegries...

Keep an eye on her breathing, if it gets labored she may need to make a trip to the vet.

Good Luck

Did your dog eat something that cause her face to swell because she was allergic to whatever she may have eaten? Or, was she bitten by a bug or a spider or something?
Whatever it is, I hope you take her to see a vet IMMEDIATELY so that whatever it may be, it does not spread and cause an infection.
I wish you luck and I hope she is fine.

My dog had that happen about 3 months ago and she was having an allergic reaction. I would call your vet or give it some Benadryl. Good luck

I agree with Fetch 11. Take your dog to the vet to be sure.
