A pant suit should be just fine. If you can wear it to church, or to a business meeting, wearing it to a wedding would be appropriate.

Depends on how dressy, if it is covered in sequins or bugle beads or something flashy like that then I wouldn't wear it to a daytime wedding. However, if it is just a fairly plain but dressy then yes.

If you're a member of this church and you would never wear pants to a service there, I would stick with a skirt or dress.
