I have big hair too. It sucks. But good news is here! Big hair is coming back! Have you not noticed? Many models are starting to wear ‘big’ hair rather than straightened!

But to give some control to your large hair, yet keep a nice large form, try this; take your straightener, and straighten. But rather than going for a flat, perfect straightened look, run the hot iron over it just two MAYBE three times. It will make the hair less crazy, yet still have a full look. And also, it only takes half the time to do this rather than the full on straightened look!

Be proud of your large hair! I am! It’s coming back in style, and soon people will be jealous of our hair rather than the other way around!

Happy styling!

My hair is the excat same way! :-) And I have the same problem. My hair is naturally curly and I've been straighting it but it never works out because my hair will frizz up again and get curly. So what I do is I wash it first, then I oil my scalp, and I take some mousse, curl activater or just some curl gel from Trade Secert and scrunch it in and it gives me that wet, sexy look. And at night I just braid it. And if you want put some anti frizz serum on your locks to make your hair less frizzy and more smooth. I hope I was of some help to you today and good luck sweety!

When your hair is still wet, Towel dry to a damp stage. Buy the pantene pro V Frizz eze stuff. Put about a dime size on your hand lather and apply evenly. After you get that in take Mousse and Lather that into your hand use according to length with medium hair fill you palm. Then also aply your stlye as disired and then spray. It seems like Alot of product but it will stay all day and look sleek not messy or frizzy.

I'm a cosmetologist, so I understand your frustration. Try this:
wash your hair as less often as you can stand. Your hair's natural oil will help with styling such curly hair. when your hair is damp, apply a dehumidifying product (experiment with what works for you) by twisting your hair into spiral curls using your fingers.DO NOT BLOW DRY! Let it dry naturally. this should be a quick and easy solution that will look beautifully natural. -toni

I had the same problem. I bought a curling iron and now I use that at the ends of my hair. I get compliments all the time. Make sure that you dry your hair completely before you use the iron. Also, use a good iron, like Chi.

My hair is like yours and always looks a frizzy mess. I haven't tried it yet, but someone suggested dreadlocks would be the best solution for me.

my young sisters have the same problem....but you know what, they look so cute with the mess it comes with sometimes....

BUT, other than having it straightened usually, i see them having this roller thing.....so they'll have the whole head divided and curled up on alot of these round things...and in the next day it'll look owsem....

:) good luck.............and never lose confidence of that...
