My money is on the word "ale" (the earliest type of beer). Our English word is derived from a similar Old English word, which was in turn derived from an Old Norse word and the Germanic "aluth" which was derived from the Indo-European root "alu" which was almost certainly derived from the original Sumerian word "ulushin" which can be found in Sumerian epics written over 5,000 years ago (like Gilgamesh, etc.).
