Hi I've been dating my boyfriend for 7 months now. In the beginning, and pretty much all the way up until early July we had the most amazing relationship ever. He would buy me little gifts for no reason, flowers, always tell me he loves me, and everything was just perfect. Then he had to go away and live at a corrections facility for 3 months. Most of the time we were still doing pretty good but in the past month everything has changed. He never hugs me or tells me he cares about me anymore. When I'm at his house he acts like I'm annoying when I try to get close to him. He told me recently when I asked him about it, that, "I still love you but I don't exactly feel the same as I did 7 months ago."
What should I do?
Should we take a break and maybe it will all come back? Or am I just wasting my time?
I'm so confused and I feel very hurt.

Hunnie he does love you, just not love like a lasting relationship, He cares for you but not the way you want. You should end it, if he is telling you this it's already basically over. Relationships are hard and usually don't last when your young. In serious relationships you have to soemtimes gives more then you get, He is not ready for something that steady. You should love yourself to know that you deserve to be with someone who truly loves you. Move on hun.

In any relationship, the sweetest time is the initial period coz ppl will cherish their partner. The diffcult part is that once your relationship had stabilised, it is very hard to maintain it coz some of us dun have the patience to maintain it whereas others really take the trouble to maintain it.
At this moment, have a talk with your bf to see if he wants a break at this moment for both of you to cool down and considered if the relationship can work out well for both of you. There is no point for one party to maintain the relationship if the other party is not interested to maintain it.
So think over carefully before you made the decision

I work in a correctional facility.....and I see there more DRAMA than the one in T.V
My educated guess is he has found someone else, but yet still holds on to you for whatever reason.
People seem to think or confuse the phrase "I love you"....with..."I'm in love with you"......Anyone can "love" anybody. The Question is is he IN LOVE with you still?
That's the real Q you should ask him. He is already telling you that "he doesn't feel the same as he did when you forst met"
Is time to move on.
Good Luck

Take a break now because even if you wait it will be a waste of time.. He is def confused and probably drifting away from you... You have to give him some space so he can sort out his feeling... But chances that he will come back to you will be really small but meanwhile heal your heart and don't wait for him... Have fun with your girlfriends or do whatever you do in your spare time when you were single..

Maybe something happened to him in that facility that caused him this emotional upheaval.
Take a break from the relationship and let him get himself together. If things work out, fine. If they dont, than you didnt waste your time.

I don't think he loves you anymore and "doesn't feel the same anymore". Yes, take a break & look for someone else.

Yeah i think you should cool it a little while with him and then maybe he'll realize what he had and things might get back to normal :)

YOU NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT IS MAKING THIS GUY LOSE INTEREST IN YOU . IF HE ISN'T HONEST ABOUT THIS THAN YOU PROBABLY NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR HEART.
